The key to finding innovative solutions is a methodological process. This process entails the discovery of the core problem, definition of appropriate goals, followed by a systematic search and thoughtful selection of solutions. These steps provide guidance without restricting creativity.

Dieter Rahms’ notable quote encapsulates my design credo. I am convinced that good design is simple and functional. By reducing elements to their core and making sure that each feature is thoughtfully designed for its purpose, elegance can be achieved through a rigorous process.
Question Everything
It may be tempting to maintain the status quo. Yet, the reliance on existing solutions and aversion of the unknown can make us blind to better and potentially ground-breaking ideas. Thus, I am convinced that questioning everything and asking “Why are things the way they are?” is critical for achieving true progress.
